Our Story
The vision for MoonSprout Life Arts started in 2006 when our founder felt the call to work with children in order to make the greatest possible impact on our world. She wanted to include her multiple passions in the arts, outdoor education, whitewater rafting, snowboarding, science, singing, communication, dance, and more, so that she could share them with the children of the next generation.
Coming from a family of seven children, Dany has always felt deeply connected with the youth and the spirit of play. She has worked in many roles with children for the past 25 years: Waldorf Teacher, Whitewater Rafting Guide, Snowboard Coach, Outdoor Educator, Tutor, Nanny, and more. Dany is extremely passionate about cultivating a spirit of
heart-centeredness and lightheartedness in this sometimes heavy world.
Vision
A world where human beings are reconnected with nature, where we remember how to care for ourselves with practical skills like growing food, and building shelter and fire; a world where we feel deeply connected to each other, where we have sincere community support for individuals and families; a nourishing and nurturing place for children to grow up, feeling supported, creative, and one with the Earth.
Mission
We are here to rekindle the spark of wonder in children of all ages (including adults) by weaving together creativity, nature, and community. We aim to reconnect humans more deeply to themselves, each other, and this wondrous Earth we call home.
